Royal Wedding

On Friday 18 May the children enjoyed taking part in a special Royal wedding theme day to celebrate the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Each class found out some facts about the British Monarchy and prayed for the new couple. They decorated crowns and created Union Jack flags. Some pupils studied the royal family tree, others decorated bunting and designed beautiful weddings cakes and balloons.

Of course, there was mandatory waving union jacks at our special sunny royal garden party, where we savoured tasty cakes made and donated by generous parents and gifted bakers in Middle School. A special mention goes Grace S, who brought in a flower pot full of chocolate soil, complete with alarmingly realistic jelly worms!!

It was a very memorable day!
