Woodland School Activities

On Wednesday 15th November all of our lower school children took part in their first woodland school activities. Beth Kent led the activities in our own woodland area at the back of school.

The children thought about how God has created us with five amazing senses to enjoy his creation. During the day each class had the opportunity to collect sticks to make a photo frame and practice knotting techniques. Some children also made colourful woolly wood hangings.

At the end of day we all warmed up together with hot chocolate, marshmallows and a story. The children had great fun exploring God's creation and learning together in the outdoor environment.
