Nativity Assembly 2016

Once again our nativity assembly was a joy to behold! All of Lower School participated and Year 3 clearly acted and narrated a faithful retelling of the Christmas story, cleverly incorporating a news studio and tunefully supported by a host of angels. One of our friendly directors Mr Moffatt spoke about the significance of the gifts that the wise men brought to Jesus and challenged us to think about serving Him all of our lives.

After announcing our termly house point year group winners and the Middle School Buffet prize winners; Mr Worsley declared Penuel to be the winning House, and presented the cup. We rounded off the assembly with congregational Carols.

This year as ever we were supported by a growing audience of parents, friends and family who were treated to coffee and mince pies afterwards. The whole community seemed to appreciate the atmosphere of celebration and fellowship in the context of reflecting on the gospel and the real meaning of Christmas.
