2009 Good Schools Guide GCSE Award

FloatsAt CFS we are very proud of the annual Expressive Arts Evening which showcases the work of our pupils from Years 8 to 11. The pupils from Year 10 and 11 perform peices from their GCSE coursework.

Today, 8th June 2009, CFS won the 2009 Good Schools Guide GCSE Award for Boys taking Expressive Arts and Performance Studies at GCSE at an English Independent School.

FloatsThe Good Schools Guide make these awards on the basis of Key Stage 4 results for three combined years - in this case, 2006, 2007 and 2008, and in particular on the basis of the popularity of each subject relative to similar schools, and of the success that pupils achieve relative to the other examinations that they take. The Good Schools Guide's aim is to highlight excellent teaching in individual subjects.
