Skipping competition
Three pupils from year five arranged a skipping competition to help raise money for Tear Fund. There were three groups, one for very confident skippers, another for skippers who were a bit confident and a final group for unconfident participants. All the entering pupils wrote down their name, class, and age in a table and selected the group that was of their standard.
Everyone who entered donated a minimum of fifty pence each. There is to be a prize given to whichever boy and girl could do the most skips in three minutes. In the end they raised £150! Well done to Charlotte, Marcus and Sabina from year five.
