The staff and Governors congratulate Y11 students on their hard work and wish them every success in their apprenticeships, sixth forms, colleges or employment.
An interpretation of statistics issued from the exam board in August 2008.
- 88% gained 5 or more GCSE A*- C grades.
- 66% gained A* - C grades including both English and Mathematics.
- 89% gained A*-C grades in R.S, Geography, Expressive Arts, French, Art and Design, Additional Science and Business Studies.
- ECDL candidates passed all modules, many with very high scores.
As a school which is non-selective and only has one Y11 class, our statistics may show quite a swing from year to year, influenced by the ability range of the particular class.

NB. When government statistics are based on all those aged 15 rather than those sitting GCSEs, the figures count in two CFS pupils aged 15 who were in Y10. They didn’t sit GCSE’s in 2008 and therefore didn’t gain any qualifications. This has made some of the percentages appear lower than is really the case.
